These days it seems everyone has a cell phone in their hands. The world is so well connected, it takes seconds to search for your favourite restaurant, locate the nearest gas station, or find suggestions on where to shop. Younger generations might even say “If you can’t find it online, it might as well not exist”. I cannot even remember the last time I opened a phone book to lookup a business!
Now, more than ever, it is imperative that businesses are easily found online in order to succeed in the modern world. I have had many business owners tell me that word-of-mouth has been their best form of advertisement, and while in-person recommendations are valuable, nothing trumps online marketing.
